Making the Decision to Change

Boadi’s difficult, toxic marriage that lasted four decades ultimately led her to a powerful realization: She needed to make the difficult decision to walk away in search of a more authentic, joyous life.

In 2019, Boadi bravely set out on her own to find a new way of living. Though she had no idea how she would achieve her goal, steps became leaps and leaps became bounds. Through sheer determination and the support of both friends and strangers alike, she found the courage to take the first step on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

During tumultuous COVID, Boadi traveled solo along the East Coast of Australia, shedding old ways of thinking and breaking down the mental barriers that had once held her back. She discovered new opportunities and tools to help her grow and thrive, honoring her true self.

Boadi has authored two impactful award-winning books in her healing journey so far.

Deciding to Go Alcohol-Free

Women Going Sober: An Empowerment Guide for Women Going Alcohol-Free and Embracing Being a Non-Drinker delves into the unique struggles women face when trying to overcome alcohol addiction.  In this book, Boadi takes us on a raw and unflinching journey through her own battles with alcohol. She keeps it real when describing the struggles women face trying to quit the bottle, and interviews women from Gen Zers to baby boomers who have battled addiction and succeeded.

With searing honesty and poignant prose, she explores the pain points that so many women face during their own paths to recovery—the feelings of shame, isolation, and self-doubt that can make it difficult to stay the course.

Boadi presents the evidence of the damaging impact of alcohol on the body, specifically on female bodies.  Not only physically, but also socially and mentally.

Healing Attachment Wounds & Relationships

In her latest book titled Healing Your Attachment Wounds: A Guide to Healing What’s Hidden in Your Attachment Style and Relationships,” Boadi tackles an extremely sensitive subject: our attachment issues.  She digs deep to break down how these wounds form, how they affect us, and the changes we can make to heal ourselves. She even gets personal by sharing her own attachment struggles.

Boadi presents a comprehensive guide for reframing our perceptions and understanding the positive and negative attributes of our attachment style, and how we can create a road map toward healing.

By having the courage to integrate our childhood trauma, we can break free from limiting patterns and gain the strength to build healthier bonds in the future. True integration gives us the power to embrace love and nurture the connections we hold dear.

Blending Science with Spirituality, Storytelling with Sisterhood

Boadi’s Sisterhood Series is a remarkable collection of books, merging neuroscience, storytelling, spirituality, and the transformative art of reframing.  Boadi’s mastery lies in her ability to intertwine scientific understanding with the ethereal world of spirituality, crafting narratives that resonate on a profound level. Each book becomes a doorway to self-discovery, offering insights that empower and inspire. Through this unique blend of disciplines, Boadi invites readers to explore the vast terrain of the human experience, fostering growth, healing, and a deeper connection with oneself and the universe.

Boadi remains a deeply empathetic person, always seeking to connect with others and offer them the support they need to find their own paths to healing.  Whether she is spending time with her grandchildren or exploring the world around her, she is always looking for new ways to inspire and uplift the people she meets.

Indeed, for Boadi, this wonderful journey is only beginning—the best is yet to come.

We open up our vulnerabilities when we face past trauma -
but in the end, our vulnerable side is our strength!
